Cliff House Friends is a community website for people who want to help keep Cliff House connected to Salcombe life. This page explains what information the website may collect and how it is used.

Information we may collect

The public website can be viewed without giving us personal information. The members area may store names, notes, event sign-up details, and resource information entered by members. Uploaded files and linked resources may be stored in the Cliff House Friends Google Drive.

How we use information

We use information to run community events, coordinate volunteers, manage shared resources, and keep members informed. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies

The website uses essential WordPress cookies for login, administration, and remembering access to password-protected members pages. Cloudflare may also use essential security and traffic-management cookies. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or behavioural tracking cookies. If that changes, this page should be updated and non-essential cookies should not be set without consent.

Google Drive resources

Members can add files and links to a shared Google Drive resource library. Please only upload photos, documents, or contact details when you have permission to share them with Cliff House Friends members.

Keeping information

We keep information while it is useful for community planning, record keeping, or resource sharing. You can ask for information connected to you to be corrected or removed.

The site links to Google Drive, Instagram, and Facebook. Those services have their own privacy and cookie practices.
